MNF preview: Week 4 Chicago Bears @ Dallas Cowboys

I am very excited for tonight’s game. The winning team will come out of this game at 3-1 and looking like a playoff contender while the losing team will come out 2-2 and looking as if they are going to have a struggle to reach the postseason.
Dallas’s defense has looked amazing for most of their series this season. They have a strong front seven and their secondary is finally catching up to them. Their offense has an amazing amount of potential and if their passing game performs as they should their offense could be very hard to stop.


Chicago’s defense has looked amazing for most of their series this season. They have a strong front seven and their secondary is finally catching up to them. Looks a lot like the Dallas defense, no? The same can be said about their offense as said for Dallas. The big thing holding Chicago’s offense from excelling is offensive line play. The drops by the receivers don’t help either, but that is secondary to the pass blocking when it comes to hindrances.


I expect to see a lot of Michael Bush, Demarco Murray and Matt Forte (who will play according to recent reports). This should set up some play action that will work less than fail, only because both teams have incredible pass rushers. Some screens and quick slants are the best way to take advantage of both defenses.


My prediction: Keep in mind I am a Bears diehard and you might not take this too seriously. I am going with Chicago 27-17. Both teams have at least one rushing touchdown and Marshall decides he doesn’t want to drop any balls this week.

What amazes me about Hester... what has always amazed me about Hester, is his ability to stop and return to full speed faster than anyone I can remember. His natural ability has never been doubted. This shows he is acquiring the skills, tricks and techniques a WIDE RECEIVER must have, in order to be successful in the NFL. I hope we see a rapid learning curve. Having 4 exceptional WRs on the Bears roster is something I never thought I would see.
