So tonight was the Fall sports awards for the HS that I coach football at. My players went and got all of us coaches gift bags to show their appreciation and in my bag was a Chicago Bears cap... I live in New England and the area is full of Patriot fans and I've maybe mentioned that I'm a Bears fan on a handful of occasions to maybe a handful of my players (over the course of a few years that is), although they've seen me in my leather Yankees jacket before... so the kids tell me when I open the bag that I remind them of an actual Bear and that's why they got me the Bears cap.

I love the cap, it's the traditional one, navy with the orange C on the front. So while the reasoning behind the cap is funny, it's going to be one of my favorite gifts for a long time.
