And to make matters worst Cutler stated that he is not cleared as of Monday to play on Sunday, and isn't sure he will be.

good grief, i cannot believe I'm saying this but I'm not sure McClown isn't our best option at qb right now.....sigh.
Not sure what Sanz is going to do for us? He's another slow possession guy to fill Bennetts spot as slow possession guy. We still lack the #2threat to start opposite Marshal.

that's ok. We still lack the time for the QB to get it to the #2 threat.

And that's assuming we can keep our QB healthy enough to throw to ANYONE. With the oline so bad, Cutler's not finishing the season anyway.

FML!!! We have a big game coming up this weekend against the Vikings that is a must win for us to keep our hopes of winning a division title and making the playoffs alive, and now we may not have either Cutler or Jeffery? Shit!!!

We really need to see what we have in sanz as a wr, because he has no stock as a special teamer. Seeing how we have one of the best no. 1 wr's in the league, we should be able to move the ball around more. Obviously that is still a work in progress at best, tho, but we have some unarguable facts that need to quit being ignored:
Bennett is probably still hurt, because every other year he's been automatic on 3rd down
Hester sucks as a wr
The TE's we've been using as pass catchers have gone above and beyond to show we really can't rely on them for anything other than the short pass.
We have 2 rb's that have proven to be invaluable to the passing game, one at the cusp of eliteness and the other above average, yet between tice and cutler they're just not getting used that way (i remember a few games seeing forte doing a curl route wide open, just to see cutler fling it deep)
Conclusion: We know what we have in Marshall, and we can see how ugly the offense can get when he is shut down, using poor players as secondary targets and ignoring others/not exploring all other options to improve the pass game.

This offense is never going to get better so long as Tice is calling plays. He lied to the Bears top brass when he promised to play within the offense's strengths. Right now, had we done this, we could be sitting at 9-1 or 8-2 on the year rather than at 7-3 and at the first Wild Card slot. This coaching staff, particularly Tice, has cost the Bears dearly.

Idk..it takes anyone time to get good at a new job. These past two weeks should really let tice know that calling pass plays at inappropriate times and that he's not putting much creativity into the run game (DO NOT fake or attempt another end around with hester) as he should be. I'm still very optimistic about our chances in every game this season, and eould not be surprised in the least if a meeting of the minds produced a significantly more efficient offense. I'm not saying we could play like the patiots, but we should be able to keep up with many other offenses...
