    Is the braintrust SO SLICK at HALAS HALL, that you engineer a MEDIA EVENT to keep you in the headlines during the off season ?

    Tim Tebow signed as FB/TE (we do need a TE) and Manti Teo as LB in the fourth round?

    The MEDIA would go berzerk looking at those two while Trestmann quietly rebuilt the team.

    Focusing all MEDIA attention away from where it really counted concerning CHICAGO BEARS.

    Then you could trot them out at game time like trophy wives unless they actually performed .

    For his sake, I hope he doesn't try. The CFL has been a graveyard for the careers of all NFL refugee QBs who don't go by the name of Doug Flutie. Remember Eric Crouch? He left a career as a safety in the NFL to become a starting QB in the CFL and ended up so far down the Argos depth chart, he needed a snorkel to breath.

    And then there's Cleo Lemons.

    I would seriously take Tebow over Campbell, assuming we could sign him for cheaper than what we paid Campbell (which we probably could).

    Seriously though, Trestman and Emery are just not stupid enough to take Tebow. As much as I'd love to see him here (I'm a Tebow fan just because everyone else hates him ), he's not coming here, and neither is Te'o (who I didn't want in a Bears uniform even before the fake girlfriend scandal).
