Didn't Carimi come into training camp lean and with a low body fat count? I can seeing be low on the weight to help then knee, but shouldn't linemen have alittle weight, bulk?
The passion of a few, to rule the many, that's Washington D.C.. Where else was that said before, about whom?

And I was really disappointed we traded Clutts away. But I figured at the time, that Lovie knew something we didn't, and E.Rod was going to be a stud.
Well. This is the year for E.Rod to show he was worth the pick (and worth getting rid of Clutts for).
Yeah, Lovie knows offense. Sort of like how a deep sea fish knows sunburns. It's really hard to fairly evaluate "disappointing players" on offense last year (Cutler, Bennett, Forte, ERod, Bush, etc) because the supporting cast on the field and on the sidelines was so bad. There's fair criticism for many of them but its tempered by the fact that their coaching staff blew chunks from top to bottom. Thank God we cleaned house there. The only ones I can't give any kind of "pass" to are Hester and KDavis. They just plain suck all on their own.
Gee, I'm shocked that none of our O coaches from HC on down got jobs anywhere yet...

Carimi, Jeffery and Cutler.

I think Carimi will be better, at least average next year. Dude was playing on one leg this whole season.
Jeffery is gonna do great next year (I wouldn't call him a "disappointment" but he's gonna improve) just because he's gonna be training with BMarsh during the whole off-season. Those PI calls on him will disappear.
Hester is a big question mark and I hope he does bounce back as a return man if they keep him...definitely want him having no part of the offense though.
Cutler will have to prove himself this year if he wants that long extension.

Obviously I disagree with you, Jay might not of had a great year, but it was far from a disappointing year. Carimi had a disppointing year I think he will become a far better tackle in 2013. As for Davis I don't even see him on this team next year, way too much money for what he can't do on the field.

I heard people say that he doesn't fit the ideal NFL LT/RT mold when you meet him in person and that he's a far cry from the 316 lbs that Da Bears list him as. He was big in college, but hasn't filled out for the pros yet.
